FIKO Ltd supplies titanium rolled materials for production of medical instruments and implants. The standard materials for this are titanium bars and titanium wire, which are manufactured by means of forging and rolling of titanium ingots and titanium slabs into titanium bars, titanium sheets, titanium tubes. The following grades are used: ASTM C.P. Grade 1, Grade 2, also Grade 5, Ti6AL-4V, Ti6AL-4V ELI, GOST VT1-0, VT1-00, VT3-1, VT6, VT6S, VT5, VT8, VT9, OT4, OT4-1, OT4-0, BT14, VT15, VT16, VT20, VT22, VT23, PT1M, PT7M, PT3V, alloy 14, alloy 19, alloy 27, alloy 40, alloy TC6, AT3, AT6.
The most applicable grades of titanium for medical instruments are titanium alloys VT6, VT6S or according to ASTM Grade-5 and Ti6Al-4V. Titanium bars, titanium wire, titanium sheets, titanium tubes of such grades are being supplied to the companies which manufacture medical instruments using titanium bars, titanium wire, titanium sheets, and titanium tubes in their production process.
Titanium bars, which are used in medical industry for production of joint-spins are supplied in grades ASTM C.P.
