Delmar Fire Department provides fire protection to nearly 3,700 properties in the Delmar Fire District and 8,700 properties in the Delmar-Elsmere-Slingerlands Ambulance Districts in the Town of Bethlehem, New York. Nearly 80 local residents volunteer their time and put their lives at risk on behalf of our local residents. The Delmar Fire District is currently exploring opportunities to construct a new fire and ambulance station. The community's input and involvement in this project is vital to its success. As such, we invite the public to participate in a series of open meetings to discuss the growing needs in the community and the options available to the Fire District.
