International Museum of Art & Science

IMAS operates through the generosity of the City of McAllen, the County of Hidalgo, the McAllen Independant School District, Region One Texas Education Agency, the McAllen Public Utilities Board as well as through federal, foundation and corporate grants. IMAS houses a permanent collection of over 8,000 art and science artifacts, with one of the largest Latin American Folk Art collections in the nation. As a Smithsonian Affliliate and a member of the American Association of Museums (AAM), we provide a variety of exhibitions, events and programs to offer a wide range of life time experiences in the cultural arts and natural ( www.imasonline.org )
