Indianapolis Art Center

The Indianapolis Art Center is a not-for-profit arts organization that, in addition to classes and exhibitions, offers extensive outreach programs to the community. Our year-round ArtReach Program provides neighborhood-based group classes to areas and communities in need of arts and cultural programming. ArtReach provides youth the opportunity for creative and appropriate forms of self-expression. Using the arts as a catalyst, an emphasis is made on providing caring adult role models and a sense of connection with others. While enrolled in the ArtReach program, students have opportunities to welcome visiting artists, attend field trips to parks, museums and other cultural events outside of their own neighborhoods in order to learn more about the larger community in which they live.
