Hawaii State Public Library System

The Hawaii State Public Library System (HSPLS) is made up of 51public libraries and is the only statewide system in the nation. There are 23 libraries on O`ahu, 13 on the Big Island of Hawai`i, 6 on Maui, 6 on Kaua`i, and 1 each on Lana`i and Moloka`i. Obtain your library card: the first one is FREE for Hawaii residents and military personnel and dependents with orders. Borrow circulating books, records, cassettes, compact discs, pamphlets, magazines, and pictures at any public library at no cost. Most videos and DVDs may be borrowed for a fee of $1.00 per video.
