The Friends of Seward Library is a volunteer, nonprofit organization officially organized in 1987. The goals of the group are to: Focus attention on the Seward Memorial Library. Encourage understanding and appreciation of the work of the Seward Memorial Library and the importance of the library to the future development of the community. Attract bequests and gifts of books, manuscripts, money or other appropriate materials beyond the resources of the library's budget. Support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association's Bill of Rights.
