Wheatland Regional Library (WRL) joins libraries across the province in celebrating Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Week February 5 - 11, 2006, with storytelling for children by Tyrone Tootoosis at Warman and Martensville Branches on Thursday, February 9. Warman Branch will host at 10:00 a.m. and Martensville Branch will host at 2:00 p.m. Tyrone Tootoosis is an accomplished storyteller, public speaker, powwow dancer, actor and journalist, and a tireless advocate for indigenous knowledge and culture. He lives in Saskatoon. Wheatland Regional Library is proud to showcase his storytelling skills.
