The St. Louis County Library Foundation was established in 1999 for the purpose of supporting the St. Louis County Library District. It is a 501 (c) (3) organization, and donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible. The Library's mission is to support and enhance the community by providing free and equal access to ideas, information and opportunities for lifelong learning. The Library Foundation generates resources and helps develop programs which supplement and maximize the Library's operating funds to meet community
