Martin County Literacy Council is a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to helping people attain literacy skills so that they might be confident, self-sufficient, productive members of the community. The Martin County Literacy Council was founded in 1977 by a group of concerned citizens. Our Center is located at 2351 S.E. Monterey Road in Stuart. Last year over 150 trained volunteers contributed nearly 7,000 hours to adults/young adults enrolled in our program.
