Friends of the Tucson-Pima Public Library are a group of avid library advocates dedicated to supporting and enhancing Library services and programs. Specifically, our mission is to: Support the library and promote literacy Raise funds to enhance library services and programs Encourage community involvement Promote love of reading/love of learning Recirculate materials in environmentally responsible ways The Friends of TPPL is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization founded in 1969 to raise funds for special and innovative library programs, equipment and services, which are not part of the normal annual budget. We accomplish this by raising funds through the sale of used books, memberships, and grants. The Friends conduct 3 book sales a year at our warehouse on Country Club ( www.lib.ci.tucson.az.us )
