The Canton Public Library serves more than 85,000 residents of Canton Township, a community in western Wayne County, Michigan. We are a member of The Library Network (TLN) and the Metro Net Library Consortium. The library's director is Jean Tabor. The mission of the Canton Public Library is to serve the informational, educational and recreational reading needs of all Canton citizens with a staff of skilled and knowledgeable employees in a welcoming environment. This mission will be achieved by a perpetual commitment to excellence in all aspects of its operation.
