Overview: The Covington Branch of the Kenton County Public Library maintains an extensive collection of local history and genealogy materials. It is one of the largest Kentucky history and genealogy collections in the nation. Scope: The scope of the collection is the entire Commonwealth of Kentucky with a special emphasis on the Northern Kentucky region. The library maintains book and microfilm resources from every county in Kentucky. Small collections also exist for the Commonwealth of Virginia and Southwest
