Sturgis Veterinary Hospital

The Equine Center was established in 2004 and evolved out of the growing equine practice of Sturgis Veterinary Hospital which was first established in 1953. The facility was purchased in 1972 by Dr. John Ismay. Since this time the practice has grown from a small mixed animal practice to a specialty practice complete with surgery suite, induction room, padded recovery rooms, intensive care unit and some of the most advanced surgery and laboratory equipment available.
