WPI (Wedding Photographers International) was founded in 1980, with one purpose in mind, to better meet the educational needs of wedding photographers. In the early 90's, portrait photographers became a significant part of the association's profile and WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) became reality. Today, WPPI has grown to be the largest trade show and convention in professional photography. As an association we've grown too, working hard to meet the needs of wedding, portrait, commercial, photojournalism and fine art photographers.
