The Kyle Fire Department is a volunteer department composed of over 70 volunteers, five full-time and ten part-time employees. We have EMT Basics, Intermediates, and Paramedics; TCFP (state) certified and Texas A&M trained firefighters. This year, we'll probably run over a thousand calls, including such emergencies as car wrecks, house fires, cardiac arrests, grass fires, diabetic complications, drug overdoses, kids locked in cars, cats stuck in trees, etc. etc. In short, if it gets messed up, we'll come and fix it.
