The Vinita Park Police Department serves the City of Vinita Park, one of ninety municipalities in St. Louis County, Missouri. We are located in Northwest County, approximately 2 miles from the St. Louis City limit. Our staff is currently comprised of a chief, one lieutenant, one detective, one sergeant, one corporal, one police clerk, and eight patrol officers serving a population of approximately 2000, with a daytime population of over 10,000. The Police Deparment had recently has recently joined the St. Louis Central Region for Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) which includes the cooperation of Univsersity City, St. Louis City, Berkeley, and cities included in the Mid County Fire Protection
