McKinley is one of five volunteer fire companies in the Abington Township fire department. Our local district extends from Cheltenham Township in the South to Lower Moreland Township in the North, and from Jenkintown Borough and the SEPTA rail line in the west to the City of Philadelphia and Rockledge Borough in the East. This area includes the neighborhoods of McKinley, Hollywood, Fox Chase Manor, Jenkintown Manor, Chapel Hill, June Meadows, Crosswicks, Rydal, and portions of Elkins Park, Meadowbrook and Huntingdon Valley. We also protect several high rise buildings including The Colonade Estates and Manor, The Plaza and Pavillion at Foxcroft Square, and Holy Redeemer
