The Lee's Summit Police Officer's Association is committed to trying to help our citizens in every way possible. We strive to do this, not only through good police work, but though good stewardship in our community. Every year the Lee's Summit Police Officer's Association participates in the "Shop with a cop ... This is a program that is designed to help the children in our communities (and their families) that might not otherwise be able to fully enjoy the spirit of the holiday season. Every year approximately 10-15 kids are chosen from the lee's Summit area. Officers pick the kids of from school and it's off to the stores. The kids shop fast and furious but at times it's hard for them to spend the money they're given, sometimes they even seem
