The Moses Lake Fire Department provides a full range of emergency response services including Trauma Verified Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service, Fire Suppression, Fire Prevention, Fire Investigations, Hazardous Materials Response, Confined Space Rescue, Trench Rescue, Ice Rescue, and Low Angle Rope Rescue. The department is staffed by 29 career personnel and approximately 14 volunteer firefighters. Fire Station #1 is located at 701 E. Third Avenue and houses the administrative and fire prevention offices, suppression crew quarters, and the department training facility. Equipment assigned to Station #1 includes 2 pumpers, 1 - 75 foot aerial ladder, 1 water tender, 4 ambulances, 1 salvage/equipment truck, 2 brush trucks, 1 rescue boat, and a special response unit/hazmat trailer.
