Lake Jackson VFD is a volunteer department, staffed by trained volunteers and augmented by career personnel. We are one of 11 volunteer departments in Prince William County, which has a total of 22 stations. Volunteers staff the stations of the County on nights during weekdays, and 24-hours a day on weekends and holidays. To accomplish our mission, we operate 2 pumpers, one tanker, one mini-pumper Attack unit, a brush truck, and 3 ambulances which are capable of providing basic and advanced life support to the community. We also protect the community with a Water Rescue Team. We utilize 3 Chief's vehicles and a Battalion Commander vehicle to assist our crews and other department crews on large-scale
