The Rendon Fire Department maintains a high level of training for the new recruits as well as the Firefighters. Our department follows and closely adheres to the SFFMA "State Fireman and Fire Marshals Association" standards and curriculum. Our training's are held each Tuesday night at 7:00 PM. Each member is required to attend 40% of all department trainings a month. This fulfills the minimal standards set forth by SFFMA. We do have a large number of volunteers which work for city fire departments and hold certification with Texas Commission on Fire Protection and maintains training hours through their city departments as well. Our program covers all aspects of the fire service to insure our response teams are prepared and equipped for any situation we may
