For more than 100 years, Littleton Firefighters have been prepared to respond to fires in the community. However many people may not know that illnesses and injures make up approximately 65-70% of our emergency calls. As a commitment to our community, each Littleton engine and rescue vehicle is fully equipped and staffed by a minimum of one paramedic for advanced life support capabilities. Littleton Fire also has special teams available for water accidents, S.W.A.T. medical assistance, wildland fires, hazardous material clean-up and heavy rescue. In addition, the Littleton Fire Prevention Bureau works to ensure that commercial structures in our community are following national fire codes and hazardous material regulations.
