The GVFD operates from its station on North Prospect Street in downtown Granville. The station is manned twenty four hours a day by both volunteer members from the community and full time Firefighter / Paramedics along with part time staff members. The department's equipment includes two fully equipped engines, one of which is outfitted with a state-of-the-art compressed air foam system, a combination engine/rescue truck, an 1,800 gallon tanker truck, a ladder truck equipped with a 93 foot aerial platform, two advanced life support emergency squad vehicles, and a grass fire vehicle.
