The men and women of South Metro Fire Rescue serve the people and properties within 76 square miles of Arapahoe and Douglas counties in Colorado. We provide fire and emergency medical services to the cities of Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village and Lone Tree, as well as portions of the city of Centennial, all in the Denver-metro area. Communties we serve in Douglas County include Castle Pines Village, Castle Pines North, Surrey Ridge, Beverly Hills, McArthur Ranch, Daniels Gate, Happy Canyon and Louviers. We also serve most of the Denver Tech Center and Inverness, Centennial Airport and the Park Meadows area. The department was formed in 1951 as the Castlewood Volunteer Fire ( www.southmetro.org )
