Ross Valley Players

The Ross Valley Players is the oldest continually operating community theater on the West Coast. Created in 1930 as a way to escape the hardships of the Depression, the theater has introduced live theater to thousands of Marin residents over the years. Initially, The Players performed at the Community Hall of St. John's Episcopal Church in Ross. In the early 1940s, RVP moved to its current location, the Barn Theater in the Marin Art and Garden Center. Through the years, RVP has nurtured thousands of actors, directors, designers, and technicians.
