MedInnova Partners was established by the Canadian Medical Discoveries Fund (CMDF) to protect and develop early-stage technologies predominantly in Atlantic Canada. MedInnova Partners is focused on novel technologies that meet large, unmet needs in the life and health sciences marketplace. By providing funding to cover the costs of patenting, proof-of-principle demonstration and/or prototype development, MedInnova Partners bridges the gap between research grants and the market place. MedInnova Partners aims at ensuring access to market for innovations developed at universities, hospitals and research institutions.
