Structural Software Consulting

Structural Software Consulting (SSC) was formed in the year 2000, but has roots that go back to the early 1980's. The company that developed the original DOS versions of the software, Structural Software Company of Roanoke, VA, closed their doors for business around 1995 with a customer list of 478 companies. Many of the users continued to rely on the programs, even without support, hoping that the software and hardware would not crash or fail. Research Engineers International acquired the rights to the software in 1997 and completed their main objective of converting the existing DOS detailing program, FabriCAD, to Windows and adding 3D modeling input.
