Since 1995, Stony Point has made five acquisitions , Utica Corporation in 1995; the Turbine Engine Components group of Textron, Inc. in 2001; Tru-Circle and Neuvant Aerospace in 2004 and BAE Systems Precision Aerostructures in 2005. All of these acquired companies and/or the acquired assets were either non-core or in distress at the time of acquisition.
