Goeman Auction Service was founded in 1955 by Lester Goeman. The company was established to provide the highest quality auction service to the public. Les Goeman designed and commissioned the Goeman Auction Pavilion in 1980, serving as the president and lead Auctioneer of Goeman Auction Service until the time of his death in 1987. A veteran of over 30 years in the auction profession, Mr. Goeman conducted well over 5,000 auction sales in an illustrious career that included twice being the President of the S.D. Auction Association; and a presidency position, and 15 year seat on the board of Dakota Telecommunications of Irene, S.D.
