Well, first and foremost, it stands for the Online Manga University, where your journey into the world of manga and anime styled art begins. In Japanese, omu means "to be born". That's what happened in August of 2000, when KatieO approached AzTech to create a university-themed website dedicated to teaching classical art techniques to the online art community.
