The ANU also provides accounts for members of the University community, which includes all staff and students and can also include visitors as "affiliates". ANU Accounts use a Uni-ID which is based on the staff members staff ID with the letter 'u' prepended, or an ID of the form 'a123456' for affiliates. The ANU accounts allow access to a range of services, including the Human Resources (HORUS) web site, the ANU campus E-mail system, the Library and various other services. Within the Department, we use the Uni-ID to permit access to various web resources on the DCS web server at http://cs.anu.edu.au.
