Youth Exploring Science is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and nurturing students in their pursuit of scientific research and study. YES hosted the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Portland in May, 2004, and were able to recruit Applied Materials as the presenting sponsor. The Fair brought over 1,300 students, their teachers, and hundreds of distinguished scientists and engineers from all over the world to our city for a week.
