Pacific Institutes for Research is a non-profit corporation located in Eugene, Oregon, dedicated to improving academic and social behavioral outcomes for children. PIR was founded in 2002. Scott Baker serves as Director. Pacific Institutes for Research is governed by a Management Committee, in charge of business operations, and a Research Committee. PIR focuses on research that can be translated into effective policies, practices, and services. In collaboration with parents, teachers, administrators, and policy makers, we can improve outcomes with scientifically based practices.
