Far North Bible College is recognized by the State of Alaska as being authorized to offer academic degrees. In addition, FNBC, though not currently able to offer accredited academic degrees independently, offers students the opportunity for academic degrees through its relationship with Global University of the Assemblies of God, located in Springfield, Missouri. Students at FNBC can transfer a maximum amount of credit to Global University (amount is determined by Global University) and obtain a degree through Global University while a resident student at FNBC.
