The Hartford Conservatory is a school for Performing Arts located in the Asylum Hill neighborhood of Hartford, Connecticut. Since 1890, the Conservatory has helped students pursue their dreams in the performing arts by offering instruction in Music, Dance and Theater. For students interested in pursuing a career in performance, there is the Diploma School, a 2-3 year post-secondary school. For community members, we offer private music instruction, music classes, and dance classes at any level in our Community School. All Instruction is provided by top level performance artists, who understand the unique goals of each individual.
