The Library provides service online and in campus libraries located in Ballarat, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, North Sydney and Strathfield. There are a total of 75 effective full-time Library staff, who either deliver service in a local campus library or perform a library-wide function, such as staff in the Electronic Services Unit, which coordinates access to digital information. The Director of Libraries, Chris Sheargold, guides the development of the Library, working through the six managers who report to him. He is also responsible for ACUOnline, which provides technical and professional support for online teaching and learning. Chris represents the Library at the Council of Australian University
