Englishtown was created in 1996 with the mission to use technology to create a fundamentally better way to learn English. We believe that traditional methods fail most students by forcing them to all learn the same way, at a fixed pace, on a fixed schedule. Like telephoning before the cell phone, English before Englishtown was inflexible, inconvenient and impersonal. More than a decade later, we believe Englishtown is truly better way to learn English than traditional methods. It gives students more choice, convenience and value.
