Reedley High School

Reedley High School was established in 1898, and the first classes were held on the second story of what was then the "old" Washington Elementary School. The first graduating class of Reedley was June 7, 1901. The school was known as Alta Joint Union High School and was changed to Reedley Joint Union High School in 1904. In 1922, Reedley High School moved in its present location. Growth and development remained continuous, and in 1935 West Hall was constructed to accommodate a junior college. From 1935 to 1957, the junior college and high school shared facilities, but in the spring of 1957 Reedley College completed the first phase of its expansion program and moved to its new campus on the Old Reed ( www.rhs.kcusd.com )
