Active Learning Centre

The Active Learning Centre works for people's rights through education and training. Since it was established over 12 years ago, Active Learning Centre (ALC) has worked extensively in the area of rights and governance in many different countries in the world. Gender and the rights of women and children are a key focus of our work but we also specialise in areas of governance, especially the role of civil society and capacity building for NGOs. Based in Glasgow University, ALC runs its own projects but also offers services to development agencies and other clients.
