NIACC operates one of the few Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Centers in Iowa, which spurs economic growth by providing programs, services and resources for aspiring and existing business owners. )ver 350 North Iowans from 40 communities have completed FastTrac entrepreneurial training at the Pappajohn Center, with over 130 new business starts in 5 years. Statewide over 2,000 Iowans have learned how to start or grow a business through the Iowa Entrepreneurial Consortium led by the Pappajohn Centers at the University of Iowa and NIACC. NIACC is a partner with the Wellmark Community Ventures Fund providing venture capital resources ($250,000 for the next 5 years) for new business start-ups.
