The UCSB Cycling Team was founded in 1964 and is comprised of both competitive and recreational cyclists. It is a co-ed team open to full-time students, both graduate and undergraduate. UCSB competes in the Wester Collegiate Cycling Conference against other universities and colleges from California, W. Nevada, and Hawaii. The collegiate men's racing is broken up into three categories: A, B, and C (Expert, Intermediate, Novice/Beginner). The collegiate women's racing is broken up into two categories: A and B (Expert and Intermediate/Novice/Beginner).
