The Langara College Alumni Council was established in 1999 to keep in touch with Langara College alumni. This includes all individuals, who have completed a program of studies at Langara College, including those, who completed at least two terms in the University transfer program, during the years since the late 1960's when the Langara campus of Vancouver Community College was established. In 1994, Langara College was established as a separate entity from VCC and the creation of this Council is part of the process of building separate support functions for the College. The Council operates with the staff support of the Langara College Advancement
