PharmaQest is an Australian drug development company established in 2002 as a spin-off from the University of South Australia's (UniSA's) Centre for Pharmaceutical Research. PharmaQest's lead product is a topical chemopreventive agent for non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC). PharmaQest has secured approximately $2.5m in initial equity funding from Australian and US investors, and is progressing with pre-clinical and clinical studies for its lead compound. PharmaQest is also developing other pharmaceutical products. Sigma-Tau Pharmaceuticals Inc. (,STP') is one of the Company's initial equity investors.
