Pro-Pharmaceuticals Inc. is a research leader in developing a new generation of Glyco-upgradeÔ oncologic drugs. We target sugar-specific binding sites found on cancer cells using carbohydrate technology with the goal of improving efficacy and reducing toxicity of some of the proven, commonly used anti-cancer drugs. Two platforms of technologies have been identified by Pro- Pharmaceuticals. The first is CARBOSOMEÔ with the lead product DAVANAT-1Ô, which is in Phase I human clinical trials.
