In 1977 Caribe Industrial System, Inc. (CISI) was founded by Warren C. and Donna E. Gundry in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Warren, a twenty five (25) year veteran of the Signode Corporation in Glenview, Illinois, was offered the opportunity to become the Signode Distributor in Puerto Rico and other islands in the Caribbean. Through the years, Caribe Industrial has become an acknowledged leading distributor for renown suppliers such as ITW Signode, Nordson Corporation, Cryovac Corporation, Intertape Polymer Group, ITW Angleboard and National Starch and Chemical. CISI serves all major manufacturing sectors of the island such as pharmaceuticals, medical device, food and beverage, electronics as well as others.
