Tree Island Industries is a wire and wire products manufacturing company, which operates a 430,000 square foot modern integrated wire drawing mill. The company started production in 1964 and presently produces approximately 160,000 tons of wire products per year. Tree Island's main production facility is located on a 52-acre peninsula site in Richmond, B.C. that extends along a mile of accessible, navigable waterfront. The steel rod, which is used for the manufacturing of products, is purchased throughout the world and shipped to the nearby ports of Vancouver and New Westminster.
