Puritan Products, Inc. is a privately held company that was established in 1987. The Puritan Products name was based on the notion that the products supplied would be of high purity and the business would be governed with integrity to its employees and customers. Operations began in Easton, Pennsylvania, a town bordered by both the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers. At this facility 90% nitric acid was manufactured and packaged. This product facilitated Puritan to be recognized as a producer of dangerous chemicals from which most chemical manufacturers shy away. In addition, reagent grade acids were purified and packaged.
