Wodonga Institute of TAFE is an integral part of the region's community and economy. Albury Wodonga is one of Australia's largest and most vibrant regional areas, located near the Murray and Kiewa Rivers, close to snowfields and some of Australia's most productive agricultural land. Wodonga Institute of TAFE services a regional population of over 100,000 and also services smaller rural centres and a range of students and business enterprises across Australia, through its onsite training endeavours and distance education programs. Wodonga Institute of TAFE was named the Victorian, and subsequently Australian, Large Training Provider of the Year in 2008.
