Owner Mike Johnston was Montana's first fully certified swiftwater rescue instructor and is one of the most experienced river rescue instructors in North America. Johnston Introduced riverboarding to Montana back in 1996 and Montana RIver Guides continues to be the only outfitter in the state and one of just a few in the country to offer guided whitewater riverboard trips.
